Accessibility statement for TaxBridge UK MTD
This statement applies to the TaxBridge UK MTD software for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, provided by Amelia (GB) Ltd and available at taxbridgeukmtd.co.uk.
This software is run by Amelia (GB) Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or operating system settings
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the software using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the software using speech-recognition software
- use most of the software with a screen reader
We've also made the text in the software as simple as possible to understand, and the product is available in 10 languages (English, Polish, Spanish, French, German, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Ukrainian and Lithuanian).
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Technical information about this software's accessibility
Amelia (GB) Ltd is committed to making its software accessible, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Compliance status
This software is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not yet fully accessible. We are working to address these points:
- Some form fields use placeholder text without a separate visible label (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2).
- A small number of interactive elements are not fully operable by keyboard or do not expose a complete name/role to assistive technology (WCAG 2.1.1, 4.1.2).
- There is no "skip to main content" link (WCAG 2.4.1).
- Some decorative icons are not marked to be ignored by screen readers, and a few icon-only controls need text labels (WCAG 1.1.1).
- Input fields do not yet declare their purpose for autofill (WCAG 1.3.5).
- When the interface language is changed, the page's language attribute is not always updated (WCAG 3.1.2).
- The contrast of some non-text elements (borders, icons, focus indicators) and the behaviour of some tooltips still need verification (WCAG 1.4.11, 1.4.13).
What we're doing to improve accessibility
We completed a WCAG 2.1 AA self-assessment of TaxBridge UK MTD in June 2026. We are prioritising and fixing the issues listed above, and will update this statement as each is resolved.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 19 June 2026. The software was last tested in June 2026. Testing was carried out by Amelia (GB) Ltd using a self-assessment against the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
